We advise hospitals, medical staffs, physicians and allied health care providers concerning the interpretation and compliance of their corporate and medical staff bylaws with accreditation guidelines, including the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations ("JCAHO"), state requirements and the applicability of various anti-discrimination and antitrust laws. We routinely represent physicians and hospitals in matters including the credentialing of medical staff membership and privilege matters, including the application of the Health Care Quality Improvement Act of 1986 ("HCQIA") and Florida's peer review statutes.
